Fringe Benefits: Step Outside the Label!

Just wanted to share this adorable Fringe top that I picked up at JcPenny a couple of weeks ago!
As you guys know, I'm a sucker for fringe, which has been an amplified trend this season (I Say amplified because there has been a consistent piece of the reoccurring BOHO trend for several years...Fringe ain't going no where no time soon! LOL!).
ANYWAY!!! Here is the top I chose...
Add captionA.N.A Black Fringe Top

The Top is by A.N.A is is sold is straight sizes. I purchased a size Extra large and of course, it does not fit my 2x frame like the model. It's OK to try things on in other sizes other then you normally wear! You never know!
Its very comphy and forgiving and perfect for daytime Shopping or a casual Night dancing!
I Paired it with a Fringe Bag I purchased from T.J Maxx for $19.99 and Boots from The Avenue (Past Season). (And some Dorsey Leather pumps from Lane Bryant)
Hope you Like the way I styled it! And my Crazy Combed out curls!!! LOL!

Pumpkin Spice Chronicles: Fall Accessories!

Its officially Fall! Yall just dont know how much I love Fall!! The Season of Pumpkin Spiced Lattes, Pumpkin scented Candles (absolutely addicted!)...and Cool nights and Warm colors!
And the Fashion!! Yaaaasssssss!!! The Fashion!!!!

The first thing I do is go on the hunt for the perfect accessories to make a smooth Fall transition.
As a plus size woman, you can sometimes be limited in how many Brick and Mortar places we can shop! That being said....Never rule out places that don't carry Plus size clothing or that may not have items you are interested in. Look at accessories and shoes that will compliment your mood, wardrobe and life! Want to see some of my recent Purchases??? Well lets go!

Women's Cream Geometric Fashion Scarf $14.99
Grey Felt Fedora Hat $19.99
Although I am in no way afraid of color..I LOVE a great neutral Pallet! I scored these Three Beauties recently and plan to add them to some of my summer whites and grays to create warmth and texture to my wardrobe! I Love a great felt hat to add instant drama...specially when my hair is straightened and I need something to add a little umph! I am also a huge scarf fan! Put on you basic pair gray tee-shirt and jeans and dress it up with some boots and a pretty scarf and your instantly polished ready for a casual lunch, a movie and of course shopping!

Vince Cumuto Gold Tone Watch

<<<<And if anyone knows me...there is going to be a new watch in my arsenal...A girl needs her arm candy! Its Gold, simple and chic...which add an air of class and elegance to your look.

OK...I Know, I know! Some of you would prefer a little more color...well hear you go!
Woman's Print Wrap  Poncho Multi-Colored $26.99
I Purchased this Colorful Aztec print Poncho from Target! Just like the pieces above, You could use this colorful piece to add interest to a basic Tee and Jean combo (Which I plan to do!), but I think this would look great layered over a body skimming Nude/Tan colored Body-con or sheath dress ans some knee-high boots! Great for a day at the office (Sheath Dress) or a nice cozy dinner (Body-Con). I also chose a Tan fringe Ralph Lauren Cross Body bag (I believe they might be almost sold out Dolls...). I know Tan isn't considered a bright color, but a neutral in the Fashion world. But stay with me! A great tan (Did I Mention Fringe???? Ah! I LOVE Fringe!) goes well with the warm and deep colors associated with Fall!
Ralph Lauren "Wheeler" Leather Fringe Hobo Bag $250+

Then...Of Course. I have to have my beloved Berry Tones! First of all...the picture of these Boots (Directly from HSN's site) does do these boots justice! They are a rich berry color (Other colors available) and the fringe is super relaxed and organic. And the best part??? They come in wide width!!! When a girl who wears a size 10/11 in shoes AND has a wide foot finds footwear that accommodates...we get on it ASAP!! No time for thinking...Budget what??? LOL!!(FYI...they were are flex pay too...::winkwink:::)

Capelli Plaid Scarf (ROSS) $5.99
Vince Camoto "Hayzee" Suede Fringe Ankle Boot $150

Well, Ladies (and gents!)! Thank you soooo much for Bringing in Fall with me! Let me know if you would like me to style any of the pieces I have shared with you today! And Please leave a comment below to let me know what you thought! Also, tell me whats your Fall Must have??

HUGS!!

The CYCLE MUST BE BROKEN! : Achieving Goals and How to Overcome Struggles!

I woke up this morning (Praise God!) and I was sitting there thinking about my life (As we all do if life grants us that extra 3 Minuits in the morning!) I'm  on a much needed vacation and I was hoping to clear my mind and hit the re-set button. In my mind I was going to work out everyday...I planned to do a Juice Fast on Monday to kinda cleanse my system, and I also wanted to do some things around my apartment. Its Thursday now (My Vacay Started on Sunday...) and I have realized that I mentally make all these GREAT plans all the time and I rarely fulfill any of them. When I Come home some days...all I want to do is lay on the couch and take a nap!!

WHAT'S MY PROBLEM!!!

Its a cycle I tell you!!! I, with good intentions, plan to do things to better my not-so-exciting life. Then I am sooo tired from working my glorious Management Job that I don't have the energy or just "don't feel like" doing anything! Then I beat myself up over not doing the things I told myself I would do, which in-turns stresses me out! Then I Start trying to figure out what I need to do to fulfill these goals of mine...then I make more plans.. DO YOU SEE WHERE I'M GETTING AT???

MY PROBLEM IS...

Hell I don't know what my problem is! I feel like I'm being lazy sometimes. Other times I am truly tired and need to give mu brain a rest! I do know that I am a very creative person and have the attention span of a Knat on Crack!!! I have known myself for a while...34 about to be 35 LONG years and I do know that I get board easily and if there isn't any variety in my life or in my daily/weekly routines, I SHUT DOWN! (Hell..I cant even eat the same thing over a span of 24 hours....so there goes Meal Prepping and all that jazz!). I have tried to come up with a Set routine for my health Journey...eating plans, exercise charts, etc. Nothing has worked for me! But I do know that I beat my self up a lot..a whole lot. I look in the mirror an feel discusted. If I have to go somewhere and am tring to get dressed, I sometimes litterally have a breakdown. I wouls sit in the midle of my closet room and cry...thinking How in the hell did I let myself get so Big!!! As I pass mirriors...I tent to always look at me self...judging my body at different angles. Its a sickness! Im fully aware that its a problem and I struggle with it every day! And I have other areas in my life where the same type of struggle exists.

What is a Girl to do???

Well First, Im sharing my story. I think when you stumble upon people who share the same struggles, It really makes you feel like you are not alone. Now I just dont want a bunch of like minded people having a pity party together and be done with it! I want people to be able to share there struggles and there triumphs and not feel like they are being judged! I want for people to be able to say "I Did this and I followed through with it! You shoudl Try it!" I want to generate excitement and triumph! (Thats why I created a FB Group Called "Fit, Healhy and Motivated!" a while back! Heres the Link !!

The Next thing I need to do is take it easy on myself! There are some days where I actually feel good about myself! I alwasy find peace in putting on my make-up and Helping another person pick out the best clothing that suits them. I LOVE Styling people and shoppin is my fave! I honestly feel that if I emmerse myself with doing the things I love, and less time obsessing about the bad thing I just ate or the workout I didnt do....I would be MUCH better off! But then again, I need to learn how to insert those healthy things into my life so I can be a more fit person!

How AM I (WE) GONNA DO THAT?? Lets BREAK THE CYCLE!!!

I will learn to MAKE time for my self...Time to Budget and Plan out my Bills. Time to Do a PiYo video or take a walk in the Park. Time to record a You Tube Video! Time to go shopping with a friend and maybe Post Pictures of a look I created for him/her! But for the most part I need to stay accountable! So I charge ALL my Immediate Family and Close Friends and my Readers/Viewers to Help me out!!! (PLLLLEEEEEESSSSEEEEEE!!!! With Nutella..I mean Splenda on top!!!!!).
I do know that I am a VERY visual person and is stimulated by "Pretty Things". Bo Maybe I will Start a Vision Board!!! Hummmm......Great Idea! Ill Make one on Pinterest and see how that goes! And I think whenever I am feeling stuck, I should definatly write it down..get it out and not feel like I have to hold in all in rather then become someone else's inconvenience. I Know it seems like randomnes...but sometimes you have to brainstorm to get the ball rolling!!! So WHO'S WITH ME????

So My Question is...What are your struggles??? What are ways you could improve??? What have you done to make improvements???

Comment Below! We could help each other out!

"LOVE You LONG TIME" of the Week: Freeman's Charcoal & Black Sugar Facial Polishing Mask!

Hello Ladies and Gents!!!
(((Kisses)))

Ok...so what kinda had happened is that I sorta bought this facial mask and stuck in in my medicine Cabinet when I first moved to my new place (Like almost 4 months ago...) and I JUST NOW said...I guess ill try this out! LOL! (Yall dont judge me! You kniw you have stuff that you discovered WAY after you bought it! mm Humm... you over there judging and stuff... Humph!)

Here Goes!!!

Top Left: Consistancy
Top Right: Package
Bottom Left: On Mah Face!
Bottom Right: Giving you Straight Cole Beat Face!!

Quick Facts:
Where: Walmart
How Much: About $2
What: Facial mask
By Who: Freeman's

What to do??
Step One: Cut open the pouch and pat on clean skin. you will probably not be able to make it perfectly even. You pretty much smooth the Mask onto the skin, concentrating on your trouble areas (For most of us this will be out t-zone) you will immediately feel an AWESOME warming sensation! It feels like a Spa treat!!!

Step 2: Leave on face for 5 to 7 mins! Let it Werk Hun-tee!!!

Step 3: wet your finger tips with warm water and massage you skin! The mask will warm up again and you will get a great lightly abrasive feeling to the skin! (Feels soooo good!)

Step 4: Rince with warm water (I use a Hot, white wash cloth and wipe away)
Note: Make sure you get ALL of this mask off! If you miss some spots, you will have sticky residue left on your face!
(Trust me I know...lol!)

Step 5: Pay Dry

Verdict??

I give this mask 4.5 Stars!!

I totally Love this and WILL be repurchasing this mask and keep it in stock!!!
I LOVE the way my skin feels...so smooth and soft!!!
Black Coal is know to be beneficial fro all skin types, specially oily skin! And Boy can you fry chicken on my face!!! LOL!!! I definitely suggest a person with oily skin who is about to do a full on face fro  special event to treat your face to this wonderful Mask! It will supply you with a smooth canvas and your makeup will appear more flawless!

Here is a excerpt (And some helpful facts) from another site:

Perhaps this year you were more naughty than nice.  Well fret not!  And though you may be anticipating a stocking full of coal, it turns out that the dark, ashy rock is great for your complexion.  Not only does it reduce inflammation and normalize skin cell turnover, it also absorbs excess oils and acts as a natural exfoliator. According to Dr. Joshua Zeichner, Director of Cosmetic and Clinical Research at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center, coal is a type of resin that's been used as a dermatological treatment for over 2,000 years."

Well thank you for reading my review!
I know your over there still judging me about my long lost Medicine cabinet product!!
But better Late then never!!!
(Still not buying it huh??)
::Shruggs Shoulders::

Thanks for visiting!!!
Smootches!

(P.S I purchased this product with my own personal funds. This Blog Post is NOT sponsored by Freeman's (Although I wouldn't mind working with them!! Win Wink!!! #Shameless!!!)

Bare Foot Bliss Proffesional line?? Let me telllll you!!

Hola Huntees and Gentlemens!!!

Ok...so the Fab team at #Influenster sent me a voucher/coupon for a FREE (yall know i love that word!!!) Product fron the new #Freemans #BareBliss professional line! I was uber excited untill i had to go to FOUR...LET ME SAY THAT AGAIN...FOUR WALMARTS to find it!! I was like really??? Lol!
Anyway...i seeked, bought...and tried it out.
Sooo..here goes!

(This is MY OPINION!! I was told to give an honest review...)

Packaging: (DISCLAIMER....Im a packaging whore!! Lol!) The packaging was nice...spa like...in serene colors of white and blue. The only tube they had left was dented...but I digress.

Exfoliating Polish: I liked it...the scent was very light and airy. I prefer a minty scent for my foot products...but this product was intended for the whole body. I think that they should have named the line "Bare Total Body" to be more precise to their consumers. It was a very mildly abrasive formula (for the same reasons i assume...) and i do prefer a mire grainy texture for maximum exfoliating..even on my knees and elbows.

Moisturizing Massage Cream: Ok...after my pedi...i generously applied the massage cream...put on dome booties and proceeded to bed. Woke up with dry feet! I was disappointed BUT I think you might have to seal this product with oil.

Price: these product are just under $5...I personally wouldn't purchase them with my own $$$ for that pricing unless they improved the formulas.

Overall: i give these products🌟🌟🌟.5 stars (3.5) It was an OK product...with a few tweaks...it could be awesome! The price should be in the $3 range as is...then go to the $4.50 range when improved.

THANKS for stopping by Dolls!!
